PORTRAIT "POINTERS" for a HAPPY and SUCCESSFUL DOG "SITTING!"

  •  Bathe and brush your dog before arriving. Bring the brush with you.   
  •  Be sure he/she has had a good walk.
  •  If there is a favorite small toy, bring it along.  We’ll try to use it in a creative way during the sitting.
  • When you plan to be in the portrait with your dog, wear solid colors to compliment (not contrast) with fur color.  Call us - we can guide you in this direction.
  • Allow a few minutes of “checkout time” to get used to the surroundings when you both first arrive.
  • It works BEST when your dog has training and responds to a “Sit and/or Stay” command. 

THIS IS WHERE SPIRIT, FUN and LOVE CONNECT!
We are TRULY patient and calm during the time you and your dog are with us.  Some dogs can be a little nervous when they first arrive in the studio.  We understand this.  We give them time to sniff around and get comfortable with the space.  If we are creating images in your home, please remove all distractions - such as cats!  (We have stories!)

The photo session is a chance to have lots of fun.   However, the responsibility for your dog’s actions and behavior lies with you should he/she be having a “bad dog day”  like chew the camera cords or inflict damage to the portrait artist!  (We know - yours would never do that!)  Be gentle with your dog during the session and h/she will be just fine.  Signs of aggression from your dog will cause the session to be immediately stopped.  We need you to stay with your dog throughout the session and follow our direction so we may create many memorable images for you.   Besides, with all this fun, you won’t want to miss the experience!

YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME
The time set aside specially for your portrait experience is about 40-45 minutes which includes viewing the un-retouched images and deciding on your initial selection.  After you depart, we go to work on the "Art" part and your Pedigree Portraits are ready in just a few work days.

Yes; sometimes schedules need to change.  If you must reschedule your appointment, please call us NOW!  
Your Pre-paid Reservation Fee is NOT REFUNDABLE for no-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
